Hendry’s beach

Hendry’s beach (aka Arroyo Burro Beach Park) is one of the picturesque beaches in Santa Barbara. Its a short 10–15 mins drive from downtown, popular for sunsets, surfers and dog lovers. If you plan to make it there for sunset, make sure you reach 45 mins before sunset time to grab a parking spot.

Santa Barbara Zoo

Great place to visit and entertain kids. Its a 30 acre park right by downtown and you can get through the zoo in a couple of hours. The key attractions include the train ride, giraffe and barnyard feedings, gorilla and flamingos. Make sure you bring a hat, sunscreen and good walking shoes!
